About Currency Converter

Rates come from an openly-licensed daily dataset served via the jsDelivr CDN, so the tool works globally without any API key or sign-up. Conversion runs entirely client-side: only the currency codes (not any personal data) are used to fetch the public rate table.

Frequently Asked Questions
How fresh are the rates?
The source dataset updates once per day (roughly 00:00 UTC) from public central-bank feeds. Use this for casual conversion and reference — not for trading or settlement.
Does this work offline?
The first visit needs internet to fetch the daily rate table; after that the rates are cached in your browser for the session. A manual refresh button fetches a newer table on demand.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No personal or financial data is sent. The only network call is a GET of a public JSON rates file served from the jsDelivr CDN — the same public asset available to anyone.
Why aren't there 180+ currencies?
We curate 40 of the most-used fiat currencies to keep the picker fast and the UX clean. If you need an exotic currency, let us know.
